Charter members are those who joined ASA in its initial organization period. It is an honorary designation recognizing founding support and will be recognized in e-newsletters, social media and membership directory. Charter members have the same rights as voting members. To qualify for a charter membership, applicants must own a flock of sheep. Flock defined can be one sheep. Sheep can be registered or non-registered. Charter memberships are only available for purchase until 12pm CST on 12/31/2026. Annual membership does not auto renew.
A charter member may either be an individual, corporation, organization, or farm. Corporate entities and organization members shall designate in writing the individual who will vote on behalf of the entity. This may be submitted via email to info@arshepherds.com.
Member benefits include free use of the classifieds section of this website, receipt of the e-news letter, and free admission to the association’s annual workshop. Charter members are featured at the top of the membership directory as well as listed in regular order in the registry, and will be recognized at the annual event, on social media and newsletters.
