Regular voting memberships may be either be an individual, corporation, organization, or farm.

Each of these will be entitled to one vote on each matter that is submitted to the membership for vote. Corporate entities and organizations shall designate in writing the individual who will vote on behalf of the entity. This may be an email sent to info@arshepherds.com

To qualify for voting membership, applicants must own a flock of sheep. Flock defined can be one sheep. Sheep can be registered or non-registered.

Member benefits include free use of the classifieds section of this website, receipt of the e-news letter, and free admission to the association’s annual workshop.

Charter members are those who joined ASA in its initial organization period. It is an honorary designation recognizing founding support and will be recognized in e-newsletters, social media and membership directory. Charter members have the same rights as voting members. To qualify for a charter membership, applicants must own a flock of sheep. Flock defined can be one sheep. Sheep can be registered or non-registered. Charter memberships are only available for purchase until 12pm CST on 12/31/2026. Annual membership does not auto renew.

The ‘Founding Member’ designation will be awarded to members who join before 12/31/2026. A patron member can be an individual, business, farm, or organization. Annual membership does not auto renew.

Patron Members will be recognized at ASA events, as well as social media, e-news letters, and in the membership directory. Logos may be submitted via email to info@arshepherds.com to accompany these acknowledgements if desired.

Patron Gold Memberships with a ‘Founding Member’ designation are available for those who wish to support the purposes and activities of ASA but are not actively engaged in sheep production.
